Fran Stevenson

I was born and raised in Philadelphia PA but spent weekends and summers in Ocean City NJ and spent a lot of time on the ocean and fresh water fishing with my father and brother. We moved to Centre County, 48 years ago, for my husband, Dick, to attend Penn State as an undergrad. My career has been in the banking and investment industries and I have served on the boards of several local non-profit organizations over the years and chaired the Centre County Youth Service Bureau On the Fly Tournament for the past 4 years. Dick enjoyed fly fishing and spin fishing most of his life on the ocean and fresh water and has been a member of SCCTU and served on the board for a number of years. About 15 years ago I started to fish with him and also joined TU. We have had some great freshwater and saltwater fly fishing experiences on local streams, North Carolina, Alaska and the Bahamas and have made great fishing friends along the way. We hope to have our next fishing adventures in Scotland, in about two years, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
