Cortney Gruneberg
Cortney has been immersed in central Pennsylvania's natural beauty since childhood, spending countless hours fishing and boating the region's waterways. A decade ago, she took her first fly fishing lesson, igniting a deep connection to the sport and to conservation efforts in her community. Currently, Cortney serves as an Assistant Registrar in the Penn State Registrar's Office and is a dedicated member of the steering committee for the Spring Creek Women Anglers group, promoting community and accessibility within the sport. Living in Penns Valley, she enjoys having Penns Creek right in her backyard and fishing its waters often. At home, Cortney and her husband Sam care for an aviary with over a hundred exotic birds, including wood ducks, pheasants, emus, and many more.
