Jacob Smith
Jacob Smith grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania and as a young man would recreate on the abandoned mine lands of Schuylkill county and the surrounding areas, eventually Jacob began to have a passion for angling and competing within several youth fly fishing events across the East Coast. With an extreme passion for fishing came a devoted passion for protecting and restoring streams leading Jacob to pursue a degree in environmental engineering from Wilkes University with a multi-year project of acid rain mitigation within the Bowman’s Creek watershed in Luzerne and Wyoming counties.
Upon Graduation and completion of the FE exam, Jacob began working for ARM Group as a Staff engineer out of the state college office completing stream restoration and mitigation projects, including maintenance and monitoring of five acid rain mitigation systems within the Mosquito Creek watershed in Clearfield County.
